Our leaf sculptures are designed for indoor or outdoor use. Used indoors or outdoors, the decorative and/or functional applications are endless. Outdoors, the most common uses are as decorative garden accents, birdbaths, or birdseed trays. As the sculptures are painted and sealed on the bottom, they may be placed directly on the ground. A stand or pedestal may also be used. Some of our sculptures have a hole where the leaf's stem was; a stem hole is useful for securing a drip irrigation tube for a fresh water supply. This hole can also be used to drain a birdseed tray. If a sculpture has a stem hole, this is indicated in the leaf sculpture gallery text below the sculpture photo. Winter Outdoor Use As the leaf sculptures have been fully cured and sealed, outdoor use in the winter should not be a problem. Because many people tend to neglect their yard ornaments in the winter, we recommend storing sculptures indoors over the winter. Indoor storage will prolong the life of the leaf sculpture by avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Care & Maintenance | Custom Work | Got Leaves? |
